Rockgrove

Trash & Smash

You start with a few frogs which will either be killed en route towards the stairs or dragged to the first main ad.

Soul Reaver (two hander)

Will cast a large AoE "Earthquake" Tanks will typically roll towards the group to maximise damage once the Earthquake has been cast. His light attacks can be awful so dont forget to block

As you progress you will be introduced to the following...

Bloodseeker (Bow)

This Ad can be LoS into the group and will need interrupting, if hes not interrupted whoever he has targeted will need to roll dodge, he occasionally jumps around to reposition but generally not a massive threat in comparison to the others.

Soulweaver (Mage)

The worst enemy you'll EVER face in this raid. Needs to be obliterated as fast as you can. This muthafudger will cast an Astral Sheild which will need to be dodge rolled at the right moment or you will be blockcasting until dawn!

Astral Sheild is a white/blue tinted shell that is placed on all enemies within range of the Soulweaver, the enemy health bars will have an additional colour which represents the remaining astral shield before it explodes and leaves (shield reduces via dps). If 2 or more astral shields are placed then its blockcasting time.

In training groups RL sometimes prefer to take the Soulweaver away from the group while they focus ads and deal with it on its own.

Giant Snake & Basks-in-Sneks

Basks-in-snakes has a couple of mechanics hail of arrows which can be overlapped and moved away. Next is a Taking Aim which can be interrupted.

Giant snake has a bite attack, a conal attack and it will coil up to heal which can be interrupted.

Overall a fairly simple fight and can be used for farming perfected armour

Oaxiltso/Oxo Cube

Ground Stomp

The boss will stomp into the ground and fire waves will come out in a straight line, not really a threat to the group

Noxious Sludge

Boss spits out and sludge will hit a couple of group members ( 1 being the KH) this will need cleansing in the appointed pools. Your screen will go hazy and green/smokey the longer you have sludge the more poison AoEs you'll drop potentially killed yourself and your group.

When cleansing your pool will turn green and it will have a cooldown.

Charge

The boss will target the furthest person away and charge towards them. If RL says "charge in group" that means its coming in group and raiders will get out the way asap.

Annihilator

This ad spawns at 95%, 75%, 50%, 25%

the landing AOE can be blocked so stay in group. He has a cleave ability with large conal range, target should block or roll dodge.

Chain

will chain in 2 random people

Heavy Attack

Tank should block or roll dodge and the group should block shortly after because meteors will drop down after this mechanic.

This ad should be kept away from Oxo as they will Enrage eachother causing difficulty.

Trash & Smash

Havocrel Barbarian (Dual Wield)

Has a Hasty Assault mechanic where he jumps from player to player, this will need blocking and a group stack to maximise damage.

Havocrel Butcher (Two Hander)

Does a ground stomp Ignite which puts a DoT on players around him, it can be roll dodged. His heavy attack should be rolled it can be a chunky monkey.

Flame-Herald Bahsei

Archers

Archers spawn at the edge of the arena, can be chained in and will put a growing AoE on a player which similar to taking aim it can be roll dodged if not interrupted. It can stagger the group if it lands

Frontal Cone

Tank will be facing Bahsei away from group the cone attack carries a curse which is placed on the tank.

The group will be stacked behind the boss but a few steps back to allow reaction time when the tank curse explodes.

EMBRACE OF DEATH

the group killer if not handled correctly!!!

Will target the furthest 2 people away from him and the players will get cursed via Cursed ground, this job is in the hands of the Kiters After 8 seconds cursed players will explode releasing 2 moving AoEs out, they travel randomly but try to keep them away from the group. If raiders touch the curse its a one shot. Move around them not through them.

Flesh Abomination

The are % based ads and can easily overwhelm groups if you parse on the boss, these will be moved to the edge of the arena because they drop a massive AoE bogey on the ground. The AoE will not disappear so it can pose problematic if its badly placed in the arena.

These are your priority as they put some juicy DoTs on the OT. The last Abomination will spawn at 60%

Fire Behemoth

These spawn at 50% and will be focusedby the group, once their HP reaches 0 they will kneel down and explode, make sure youre out of thise AoE when it explodes.

Meteor

Spawns at 25% and will need priority, if its not removed it will explode leading to a wipe.

Fire Waves

Can travel across the arena and can be a hurdle at times but easily overcome

Trash & Smash

Havocrel Torchcaster (Mage): Will spawn a Meteor which will need focusing or will explode and one shot the group.

Havocrel Barbarian see above

Butcher see above

Fire Behemoth (Two Hander) On death will explode, has a strong heavy attack which needs to be blocked or dodged.

Ash Titan Mini Boss

Acompanied by 2 Sunburnt red dudes (Torchcaster & Barbarian)

Training Tip Stack the Barbarian on the Torchcaster to the left, DDs focus these 2 first, the meteor should land within close proximity to the group and will disappear in cleave damage. If not the meteor should be focused.

Experienced and Comfortable stack it all up and go ham!

Molten Rain

Ash Titan will rear up and fire will rain down which leads to the following 2 things

Some players will have a solid AoE under their feet and will need to block 2-3 ticks before it disappears, watch out for the falling fire on the ground around you as overlapping these will lead to death. The further you are away the more damage it does.,

AoEs on the ground from falling fire and can be moved out of or dodged.,

position tips for this fight would be similar to VAS but with a healer on either side of the group, barrier during fire rain if you want to play safe

Xalvakka/ Slacky Vakky

The fight will take place across 3 floors and you are required to run as the room fills with lava

Floor 1 100- 70%

Floor 2 70- 40%

Floor 3 40- 0%

Wraiths will travel towards Xalvakka and must be killed or she gains a shield, once wraiths are killed Purge Soul will target and need to be purged. Step out the group and synergy to drop the bogey

Don't drop the bogey in the group or on the stairs

Vak Attacks/Eviscerating Swipes

she has a very quick succession of attacks and can be tricky for a new tank, these will need to be blocked and roll dodged in order to survive, Tanks need to be able to take the damage so set yourself up for a chunky funky fight.

Ads will spawn through the fight and can be stackd near the boss, Iron Atro will drop a swirling AoE so should be stacked near the boss not directly on her.

At 70% youll start to run

2nd Floor Fight

Wait for all the group to arrive at the top of the stairs before proceeding, roll through the Deadstar meteors and commence the second round of the fight.

Boss Split Xalvakka will split into 3, 2 are transparent and fake when you approach them and one is real and solid. Damage her shield down and it will disappear along with the fire ground AoE covering the arena.

All previous mechanics included in this floor and RL will advise accordingly.

At 40% you will run again with your group

3rd Floor Fight

Watch out for the hole in the middle of the arena, If you fall down you can't be resurrected.

Deadstar Meteors should be avoided and will drop around the group. If it hits you unblocked it takes 80% of your health, blocked is 40% so its best to stay out of them

Boss Split Same as above just be careful and travel around the outside as the hole can be difficult to see with the fire on the floor.
