Trash & Smash

Alkosh WIll

Holds a greatsword, furious sweeps is the one to watch out for, a conal aoe that needs to be facing away from the group.

Alkosh Fate

Staff wielder, will cast Chilling Comet which takes 4 seconds to land and needs to be taken out of the group and dropped.

Alkosh Ruin

S&B will do a shield charge that can be blocked and survived, Shield of Decimation is the one to watch for, they gain a damage shield which shoots out fiery balls at all players.

Alkosh Fury

This one just comes in throwing claws, needs facing away from the group and will go down fairly easily, low level stress in comparison to the others.

Senche and Clench (4 legged cats)

All 4 legged cats in Sunspire will throw a claw out and can send an aoe travelling towards the tank, they will also move backwards and then jump on the tank and send out 4 aoes across the group in various directions. DDs do not want to be stood at the head end of these cats and should you find yourself near one when they jump just block and clench!

Lokkestiiz

Ice Tomb

This is a tomb spawned at the back of the arena which a DD has to run into, this applies defile and knocks 70% of your health off. Make sure you are at FULL health before entering the healer will need to heal the DD back up to full health before the tomb drops and the DD can return to stack.

Ice Atros

Will spawn through the fight and the OT will need to take them to one side. They take little damage but walking them through an AOE left by a dead Storm Atro will knock a nice chunk of health off!

Storm Atros

Will spawn through the fight, once down to 25% health they start popping off and getting sparkly, they will need to die ASAP as the damage they throw out during this can be deadly! Once killed they will leave an AOE on the floor which then lets the OT know they can bring over an ice atro.

Too many Ice Atros on the floor can cause your OT to be under a lot of pressure so aim to have no more than 2 being held or it can become very draining on resources.

Spit Ball

Lokke will target one player and an AoE will grow under their feet, player will just need to move out of the group and block it. If stacked it can lead to death and if you dont block it you can get launched over the edge of the cliff if stood in the wrong place!

Lightning Line

During flight Lokke will spread lightning in a line either vertically or horizontally across the arena these increase and during the last flight the arena can get visually busy and slightly overwhelming

Hardmode

You have 2 Ice Tombs at the back of the arena and the healer will need to co- ordinate when the second DD will enter.

Flame Atros

will spawn through the fight they can be pulled into the group to take damage but if not killed they will explode which can kill a few DDs in the process.

Beam Phase

During the Lokke beam phase all players will have a large AOE placed around them and they will have pre assigned spots to stand on in order to maximise survivability!

SN if any atros are near 25% health before beam ohase it is always best to focus it and remove it to prevent a death by sparkly bits.

80% You have time to smash some trash, laser beam comes later,

50% Laser beam will come instantly once the boss is up in the air, DO NOT smash trash,

20% You have time to smash some trash, laser beam comes later

Yolnahkriin

This is the easier one of the 3 dragons you will fight in Sunspire, The longer the dragon stays on the ground the harder it will be later on so all you have to do is keep calm and carry on parsing!

DDs will get into 2 groups with a healer in each group, This is to ensure the Fire AoE that pops off covers one group at a time, if any player moves into both groups and takes both explosions they will die from the ticks.

OT will join a group until the first round of fire bursts goes off, they stack for a couple of ticks and then leave the group and move into their position at the back ready for the Atros that spawn.

Cataclysm

75%, 50%, and 25% Yolna will fly off and enter into his large fire breath which covers the entire space, players have a certain amount of time to get to the edge and kill the flame atros before the fire ends to avoid the messy lava pools

Fire Atros

These spawn and depending on group/dmg you will either be asked to keep them at the back with the Iron Atro or the MT will chain them under the boss. The chain mech is really only done with higher level groups with large amounts of damage. This is because when they die they will leave pools of lava that will grow until the Cataclysm gets rid of them. In low damage groups it can be tricky because the lava will cause the group to move so its sometimes best to play it safe and keep them well out the way.,

Iron Atro

This will spawn alongside the flame atros and will need taking to the back of the arena by the OT, this big guy will take minimal damage until after the Cataclysm so its just best to leave them be until then.

Hardmode

Apart from everything having a bit more health the hard mode has minimal difference, its all still a parse and burn race but the following new things will occur:

Flame Atros

that spawn will need to be killed quickly as they turn blue and enrage which can lead to group deaths.,

Time Stop

healers need to avoid these as they will stun and will be unable to heal they flame bursts on their groups, DDs can avoid if needed but make sure you keep to your groups and not to gravitate towards one another and get confused.

Nahviintaas

Trash & Smash

The fight starts with a trash pack, as always the Fate needs to be removed as a priority.

Naavi will drop a large AOE that will heal and enrage the ads so if they aren't dealt with quick enough the fight gets a bit harder.

Fire/Hide

3 rounds of fire AoE that can be dodged and then the group must hide behind a statue. Don't loiter too close to where you're going to hide or you risk an AoE burst on the group.

Portals at 90% 70% 50%

In a nutshell

  1. Negates taken away from cat,

  2. Comets placed on the cat,

  3. Dodge the lightening,

  4. Run through green buff circles,

  5. Unpin teammates when notified,

  6. Interrupt when Cat starts praying and an AoE spins underneath him

Dragon flies

80% 60% 40%

With each flight the trash pack increases and will need to be organised as quick as possible and priority given to the Fates

After 40% the boss will drop Comets on players, these will need to be taken out and placed at the back of the arena.

Hardmode

Statues will rise and walk round the arena, they're invulnerable until the start channelling THIS is an INTERRUPTABLE mechanic it will put him back into his invulnerable stage if he is bashed or interrupted!

You aim to get him down until the healers are at their limit then the group will bash him and take a breather

Few extra ads will join intermittently, they can be grouped up with the statue and it can all be burnt down together.

Portals

Exactly the same just the boss down there has a bit more health. Hardmodes are all about the chunky funky so do your thing and remember your mechs!
